Been there.  When I worked at a gas station in undergrad, I used to go home every night with 2 tall cans of Colt  45, Hurricane, Steel Reserve, or something equivalent to take the edge off of 12-hour days spent either in lectures or working.

In some circles, they call that an “Alcoholic.”  I called it problem-solving on a budget, one night at a time.
